PUENTES Europe - Latin America Producers Workshop
First workshop: Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 8 – 11

Following the successful first edition of PUENTES in 2009, we are delighted to announce that PUENTES is back in 2010 with an extended formula of two workshops, supported by MEDIA International. EAVE and TyPA/BAL will organize a joint workshop for Latin American and European producers. Workshop 1 will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from April 8-11, 2010, within the framework of the BAFICI (Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente) and workshop 2 will take place in Gijon (Spain), from November 23-26, 2010, during the Festival Internacional de Gijon.

The following producers were selected for PUENTES:

• Dymitr Solomko, Tank Production & Andzrej Wajda Foundation & Master School of Film Directing, Poland; project: Voliera Romance

The 10 selected producers (4 from Europe and 6 from Latin America) will work on the comprehensive development of their projects with top professionals from both continents:

The PUENTES workshop will offer in-depth insight into audiovisual market and operating conditions, legal frameworks, financing, sales, distribution and exhibition practices in both continents, it will provide opportunities for networking between the participants and their companies to create medium and long term informational co-financing and co-production relationships and it will enable the access to a network of producers, markets, festivals and decision makers in both continents.
